Anne Selby’s products are a fusion of high-level artistic and hand-making skills, in combination with sophisticated technology.

The colour and texture of her products is a tribute to her artistic work, and the pleating is the result of carefully controlled steaming and drying.

Anne’s unconventional academic experience has paved the way for the development of her products. She has a degree in Chemistry, and Master’s degrees in Business Psychology and Textile Design.

Anne Selby makes and sells collections of her exquisite scarves, stoles and boas, as well as a unique range of specialist equipment for individuals, colleges and manufacturers of pleated products.

Highlights of past exhibitions are listed below.

International Shibori Symposium, Hong Kong - where Anne exhibited, gave a talk, showed her film, and participated in the Trunk Show event.

Origin, Spitalfields - Always great to be in London, showing to both regular customers and new clients. Highlights included having a 'water feature' right in front of the stand - a huge pillar with water cascading down, due to a leak in the roof and a dramatic thunderstorm. Luckily no damage to my work, but quite a distraction.

Art in Action, Oxford - Anne had a huge space in the Textile tent, and was able to demonstrate hand-wrapping as well as Compleat. As always, a wonderful event.

The Makers Guild in Wales  -  Anne's work was selected for the Summer Exhibition.

Devon Guild of Craftsmen - Silver Anniversary Summer Exhibition - Anne exhibited a specially designed piece for this event.

Texprocess, Frankfurt, Germany.
